Jo decided that she didn’t want to be a brides maid anymore. She needed another role… but still wanted to be apart of friends ceremonies, so she became a wedding celebrant. To be able to stand next to two people declaring their love for each other and to be able to make it legally binding is a great achievement. Being apart of the ceremony in couples lives, the goal is to make it as memorable and enjoyable as possible.
Whatever the circumstances, big or small. I am here to make your ceremony journey extra special. This package is without all the frills. Just u me, your husband or wife or other and 2 witnesses at a beautiful location in the Hunter Valley. I will help create a wonderful and unique experience for ever lasting memories.
Been looking for a your perfect celebrant? This package is for those of you that actually want guests and that great uncle and auntie your parents want you to invite. (You don't have to you know) lol. This is where the fun begins and your bridal party are involved. Yes that's right they not only get to stand next to you up there but they get to tell a story. Everything plus the legals go into this ceremony.

How weddings have changed over time
In days past, the idea of incorporating humour into a marriage ceremony was considered a sacrilege.
Most weddings were held in a church or the registry office- neither of which is generally considered a place of fun. The closest thing to humour might have been nana, not realising she had her beautifully ironed skirt hitched up into her nana undies (you know the ones we where when it’s that time of the month) (lol) or toilet paper stuck to uncle Fred’s shoe, or a stifled giggle by the cousins as Uncle Harry dozed off in the back pew. Weddings were more about ritual and tradition than celebration and there was no tolerance for silliness. Marriage was serious business.
Thank heavens those days are past and couples now have the option to customise every facet of their ceremony to reflect their personalities. And since most of us thrive on humour, there is no reason to leave it out of the ceremony. So infusing your ceremony with some lightness and playfulness that will leave you the couple relaxed and your guests energised and conclude with you feeling “WOW” ! That was really US.
